NCCER Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP)

The Construction Association of Bermuda provides NCCER Instructor Training Course (ICTP) in Bermuda. This three-day course runs for a total of 24 hours.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Individuals interested in teaching NCCER courses in their area of expertise (e.g. Carpentry, Plumbing, Welding, etc.)  This course will also serve to recertify those NCCER Certified Instructors with expired credentials. WHY: There is a need for qualified craft specialists (trades people), and we need Certified Instructors to teach courses. NCCER Certified Instructors can earn a second income, gain prestige within the construction industry and pass along their knowledge and skills to the next generation.

Craft Instructor

Craft Instructors must meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience at a minimum journey or technician level in their area of expertise OR

  • A minimum of three years’ experience as a certified teacher in a vocational/technical construction or maintenance-related training program
